Ok guys, I'm gettin looney here. I've done nothing for the past three days but look at my fish, the snow, and my husband!

There's a drift outside so big I don't think I'll be able to get out the back door until spring!

Good thing I don't have a dog!

Hope you are all warm and comfy at home, watching your fish. :)

[b:4e50770039]SGypsy[/b:4e50770039] you are [b:4e50770039]despicable[/b:4e50770039]!
Torturing a poor, hungry soul such as myself!

[b:4e50770039]Biolermaker[/b:4e50770039], I measured here (you know, because I'm neurotic
and all) and it's up to like 26".
The drift against my back door is like 4 feet high!
I can't believe you have tulips already!
(Gardening is my other passion, besides fish!)
We never get this much. We're so spoiled!
Just came in from shoveling and as fast as you go, it keeps piling up!

Very funny, [b:4e50770039]Ekliptix[/b:4e50770039], very funny!
Just because you northern types are used to it doesn't mean we "southern" types can't
complain a little!
God, that chunk looks like it's as tall as my house.
I don't even think they have plows that big down here!

I [i:ebb241b1ac]do[/i:ebb241b1ac] love lots of snow though, and I did take these:

Those pics look sooo beautiful! Just glad I didn't have to shovel.

Ekliptix, you need to have a serious exhibit of your work. You are a fabulous artist! Thanks for sharing these with us. I feel priviledged. :)

You would think I would kind of have snow in my blood, so to speak, since my Grandfather and his family were all Canadian. They lived in Quebec mostly, but did live in Alberta for a time, too, and I think it snows massively there. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks very much. I've tried selling my pics but no luck.
It's easy to make a photo look good when the subject is so beautiful(damn, I need to say that to a girl  ).

There hasn't been much snow in Alberta for the past 5 years though. BC has some, but not like it used to be.

Use that line and you've got it made!

What pics have you tried to sell? Were they too highly priced? Where have you tried to sell them? I'm just wondering.
Might sound cheezy, but did you ever try to sell them on eBay? My husband and I do business there from time to time and have had great success.

I hope you will not take offense to this question, since I certainly have no intention of "cheapening" your work. It was just a meddling type suggestion.

no offense taken.
I've tried many magazine, card, etc companies. Both to buy one time rights, or pay per usage.
I didn't even state a price. I just never got 1 positive response.

Oh well.

there's probably some trick to getting in that only the insiders know..and they guard it like a trade secret.

Chicken Oreganato over penne pasta with garlic and olive oil. I always have chicken in the freezer. Mmmm, it was tasty.

But then I got jealous of you SGypsy, and went to the store today and got what I needed to make meatballs and sauce!!! :P

(That is after I dug a path to the car!)
