I put several clay flowerpots into my multi tank and at least one of them started to do a lot more rubbing than usual. Is it my imagination? Is it perhaps just a temporary loss of hardness? I quick did a 1/3 water change (my water is naturally in the high 8's) but I'm just curious. It could be the multi in question has been behaving oddly before but I didn't know.

If they are the orange terracotta pots you should be fine

Fish will flash against objects anytime there is something irritating there skin usually associated with new tank syndrome or cleaning to well. Be sure and use a good water conditioner like Seachem Prime.
