URGENT!! DOES ANYONE SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH......

hey guys!. I have suddenly need to seperate my Kenyi from the tank for the night, and I do not have my spare tank set up yet, my second heater is being used for the tetras and no way to aggitate the water. (apartment is tooo cold)
So I plan to use a large plastic strainer (you know the bowl like thing with holes you would use to strain pasta and veggies in) and ancore it at the top of the tank, mostly submerged so that the water still circulates and is heated for the kennyi to spend the night in. anyone see a problem? two kennyi are 1" each. Thanks
Figured it was the same idea as a breeder thingy that hanges on the side.

I've done it. Works great. Even had a fish in one for around 10 days after a bad fight.
