hey i decided to put some duckweed in my tank for my fish to eat it seems to be fine but it leaves so many little roots in the tank i thought you just might wanna know how it worked so it looks good because the light is a bit darker and it looks better plus all my little fish love to eat it and it did change the acidity at all.........ill post some pics soon

Man that stuff is worse than kudzu. I have to literally toss POUNDS of it out in the back yard on a monthly basis.

hey as ii said im new but what is kudzu and im actually getting a bit pissed at it cause its so messy

If you have any sort of lighting over the tanks at all you wont be able to kill that stuff(duckweed).

Kudzu is a plant imported in the US from Japan/China to help with erosion. The thing is this stuff grows a foot a day and is darn near impossible to kill. It isn't an aquatic plant, but is a major pain in the arse.

yeh the duckweed is bloody irratating it leaves roots everywhere ive taken it all out but its hard to get all the roots..................bugger that was a bad idea....
