'm trying this for for a background. _I picked up a 48" x 24" piece of plexi. _ I've cut it into three sections 15" wide. _BTW the plexi is .25 inch thick. _Flake some slate very very thin, so there only about _.25 inch thick. _Then drill a whole in the top part of a piece of _slate. _Line this up against the plexi and drill a whole through the plexi to. _Then drill another hole about an inch about the first in the plexi. _I then use a zip tie to attach the slate to the plexi. _Start at the bottom and use the next row of slate to cover the zip on the bottom piece. _I've only got one panel done so far. _I left some open spaces that I'm going to roto out, for cirulation for the filters and caves for the fishes. _ The one panel looks pretty sharp, but even with the rock that thin it wieghs about _15 to 20 pounds. _With the other two panels this would be about 60lbs. _ Is this just to much wieght? _ LIke I said it looks sharp but I dont want to end up with a cracked tank. _ What do you think?

Thanks for the response, thats pretty close to what my looks like except I left big spaces for caves and water flow. Its good to see that someone else already did it and it looks good. I'll try and post something when I get it up. Right now the one section thats done is sitting in my garage!
