i do have a large cave established for my new fish and my gt's territory is by a piece of drift wood on the other side of the tank.

i have a sailfin and to pictus cats(the ones with the whiskers)in with my green terrorand firemouths.never been a problem between them, in fact i have never had a problem with a pleco and anything even a rd. you'll be fine with a 1 to 1.5 in pleco for now.and if it gets to big most lfs love to have 7-10 inches plecos.i know mine does.imo, my sailfin has been growing real slow. good luck

bristlenose plecos don't get huge and are supposed to be good for algae clean-up.

Same with the rubber lipped plecos. Not sure what your lookin to spend, but the golden nuggets are cool ;) I did have a pleco get eaten before. The 1 1/2" pleco got eaten by a 3 1/2" JD. So, depending on the aggression of your GT, you might want to get a several inch pleco/catfish.

Get the bristlenoses, and a pair. They spawn quite easily, and doesnt grow very big.
