Freshwater Stingrays, anyone have any? The local petstores seem to be getting a lot of them in lately. Maybe now that puffer mania has died down, maybe stingrays are the new "it" fish. I looked online but none of the ones Ive seen on the web look like what Ive seen in person. The lfs I went into yesterday had just gotten 2 in and I wanted to buy one before she put them in her tanks but I really need a new tank before I do that. The only way I would buy from this place would be if I could get the fish straight off the truck. Her fish always look lousy. They usually look either sick, dead, or close to death. She keeps tons of fish all in 10 gallon tanks with no gravel or decorations. Im no expert but a giant gourami in a 10 gallon isnt ok, or an arrowana, 2 stingrays, and 2 plecos in a 10 gallon arent acceptable either. But anyway, I want to get another tank and a stingray would be really cool so any advice I can get would be great. Thanks.
