A business aquantence of mine is from Peru (he now lives here in Vancouver Canada) and he knows a collector/guide from there. I asked if he could get his friend to send me some apisto's if he comes across them as I really liked having them before and it has been some time since I have had them.
He sent me a couple to start with. He called them A. Altispinosa, but it certainly doesn't look like like a Butterfly Ram to me. They are young however and I have never seen Butterflys when they are young.
Anybody have a clue to what these are? They are wild so keep that in mind. I will try to find out what river they were collected from but that could take some time.
Thanks!!
