it takes a few days to hatch, then the eggs will have little tails wriggling, then you will have free swimmers. i usually feed finely crushed flake. if you are keeping them with the parents, the mom and dad will prolly take care of the feeding for a little while, just make sure to feed them well.
if i'm not mistaken, they are Rainbow cichlids in breeding color

Those don't look like herotilapia multispinosa to me. they look like some kind of Aequidens, but I'm not sure.

I agree with entombed, it looks like Port Acaras (Aequidens portalegrensis).

99% right- they're in the genus Cichlasoma now though. Several species all look plain and brown like that.
Run over to images.google.com and compare to:
Cichlasoma amazonarum
Cichlasoma portalegrensis
Cichlasoma bimaculatum (hagblomfoto has a good example)

i went to the LFS store and asked the guy what i should be feeding the fry? he gave me this stuff called liquifry 1, have any of ya'll had any experience with this food? should i use it. the parents moved all the wriggling little eggs to a hole that they dug. =) its so exciting!
i looked through those pics at images.google.com
as far as i can tell they look like Cichlasoma amazonarum to me. any idea what the name that they might be listed in the tanks at stores? i might be able to remember what i bought them as. I actually went back tonight to see if they had any and they didnt =-( and had totally different fish in the tank. ah well!

To my knowledge they're still called port acaras.
Liquifry is decent stuff to get them started, you'll want to suppliment with frozen or live newly hatched artemia. Lots of good recipes on the net for hatching artemia.
