gotta bit, have bulkheads. drilled 2 55s, and 4 20s on a rack in my basement. my point is i have a little exp with the bit.
im hearing hovever the siphon box works just as well with no holes in your tank. sounds good.
what happens if the box breaks vacum, and the pump stays on?

In that case, the pump would run dry, and the tank would overflow with however much water was in the sump.

It is a rare situation though. For a tank in the basement, I'd probably use the hang on. Anything on a carpeted or "important" floor I would drill.

make sure you know how to use that bit !
always keep the bit cool (wetting it as it drills)
and go SLOW!!! don't rush it !!!

thanks, yea ive cut before but not on 300 bucks wortha tank.
