what did i buy?

Ok lets try this again. I was told by the lfs i was buying a red devil. And i thought it doesnt look like a red devil. But i bought him anyway because he could move rocks that were a quarter in size of his body. So what am i?

No ID needed here. That is a Red Devil. He might look different than the ones your use to seeing because your's is still in the juvenile coloration. Soon enough he will morph out of that greenish striped pattern and become the orange/yellow fish that is so common.

Wow thanks for the quick response. Well thats great to know. I have a red devil thats has no tail. And she is very passive. Except with parrot fish. Shes about 5 inch long I just moved her out of the cichlid tank. (ob, red zebra, yellow lab, blue and yellow kenyi, bubble bee) and a few others i cant name. They all went into a 90g. She seem to be lonely so i purchased this jv. But she just ignores it. Right now she is in a 30g. But that is only untill my 75g comes in.
