I scanned a pic of my wife and I at a Christmas party, but the file wasn't the right kind. I'll have to take a shot with my DC or send the pic to Tom or Cichlid Pete.
And I'm waiting for SGM.

Ok Rudy, I'm going to try it again...posting pictures according to gallery directons.
They'll probably suck, but you guys will get some laughs.
They'll be up tomorrow, after the uploading ban has been lifted.
This picture stuff is all new to me.
Merlynn, Your pictures seemed to have vanished!
Did you ever get those to work?

No Rudy, just never got to them that day...had a Red Zebra casualty. Then got side tracked.
Will do it by this weekend.

Ok, Rudy...go look.
You have those nice family photos. Kids are sooo cute!
But I have no kids, so the furry ones will have to do.
The last pic was so everyone at Cichlid forums could see me at my best!

Oh yeah, that's Ye Olde FishMeister (aka Ron, my dad) in that one pic. He's the reason I have any fish at all! And he's in front of the old tank setup, without rocks or new substrate.

Hey BoilerMaker! Nice pics...you look too young to be a grandpa!
So what was in the Christmas present in the picture? I'm dying to know!!!
Don't know who Bailey is (I gather a cat you have/had?), but that is my Merlyn II. He weighs 16 pounds on a good day and is the biggest baby on earth! He eats me out of house and home (gee...like my fish) and his nickname is "Stinker." Need I say more? Merlyn's namesake, Merlyn I, weighed in at 26 lbs, and made this guy look like a stuffed animal. We grow 'em big in the East, I guess, because I have another cat, a beautiful grey tabby who weighs 17 pounds! (I'll put up a pic so you can see him. I am in love with this cat!)
I'm happy to say, too, that they are not fat (unlike their mother who needs to lose many a pound), thank God! They are just [i:122b0ac13a]really big[/i:122b0ac13a] (as the vet puts it.)

It only took 17 tries to get us all with our eyes open and not making weird faces (not too weird anyway). :)
There's a couple more in the member mugs gallery too.

I'm sure they would have turned the water on if you asked nice. :D
Speaking of opening floodgates, Tom's going to regret teaching me how to post pictures inside of topics. Luckily, I've figured out how to make the files smaller. :D

Hey SGypsy....NICE PIC!!!!
I love your positioning in front of it!!!! Makes a great photo!
Besides it is much nicer and more dignified than my sleeping on the couch like a mummy pic that my husband took.
Go see it in the gallery...you'll have a laugh for sure!

You know what else, guys, I like knowing what everyone looks like.
Makes me think good thoughts about you when I'm typing these posts! Also gives a more "personal" feeling when you're writing to someone you "know."
(Hey, what can I say, little things make me happy. OK?) :D
