Why do my angles keep dieing

Guys maybe you can help me out. I can't seem to keep angles for more than a week. I have tried to raise angles two times now. Admittedly the first time I had no idea what I was doing. But the last time really troubles me. My ph level was 7.0, and 0ppm ammonia, 0ppm nitrites, 15ppm nitrates, moderate hardness. I mean what am I doing wrong. They were about quarter to half dollar size and in a 10 gal tank for quarantine. They did not eat from the day I brought them home, but they seemed lively. Someone please help me cause I would love to keep angles. Plus it hurts my feelings when I lose fish. Thanks in advance guys. :(

some of the breeders on aquabid might be able to help--they seem to feel that the angels sold in the stores are not as strong as the ones that come from private breeders. they also indicate that angels need special handling while acclimating them.
