red devil growth?????

i have a red devil that is about 2 inches in my friends 30gl. he is raisng him,until it is big enough to go in my 30gl tank with my two oscars .I bought the red devil two weeks ago and would just like to know how long do u think it would take my 2in red devil to go in my tank with a red tiger oscar which is 8in and a red oscar 6in.advice please?

You don't have the slightest chance of keeping one of those 3 fish in a 30g tank. Oscars can reach 16", Red Devils 12" (and they usually have a serious problem with tankmates in anything less than 200g).

thanks for the advice rex. i would eventually in like 1 year get a 55gl. is that big enough?

Although still on the small side, a 55g will suffice for a single Red Devil. Sorry to give the bad news. But it better to get it now when you can prevent a disaster rather than finding out the hard way.
