what catfish should i get?

What catfish should i put in my 30g tank with 6 Neolamprologus multifasicatus (multi's)? I have heard bristlenoses would be good, but nowhere around me has them for sale. what else could i look for? This catfish needs to :

clean the tank
not harass the multis
not bother future fry
not get too big

any help would be much appreciated :ok:

Well.....I just tried to put a rubber lip with my multis...they killed it....I'm thinking ancistrus(bristle nose) would be your best bet....but multies can be extrememly aggresive for their size....

you could always try a couple of large snails or something. i dont think they would harrass your fish. they eat just about everything. i dunno mabey someone else here can help ya with it. i had to put snails in my old snakehead tank....it was the only thing that it wouldnt touch.

Multis will eat snails.....(at least mine do...)

Synodontis Petricola from the same lake? They are my favorite catfish. Drawback is you need a larger group to really see them often and they are usually not too cheap unless you grow them up from a tiny size. They are very slow growers.
