Has anyone out there built a background for their tank? I ran across this article and the background looks great!

Great article Chennes, but where are you gonna find the rock?

Besides that, I thought there used to be a few members from AZ, Now they have ROCKS. A section of the grand Canyon would be cool!

Hey, now!
We have some rock here in Iowa! There must be [i:d547a7843c]at least[/i:d547a7843c] 3 lakes here! They have some rock! :)
(I'm actually from Minnesota - plenty of rock up north there!)

I think my wife would push me off the edge if I turned a trip to the Grand Canyon into something that had to do with fish!

That one's OK, but I think it came out too flat. I want to try something with more three-dimensionality. Maybe a base like that, but with extra foam pieces glued on randomly to the drainpipes before the rocks are attached.

Thanks. She is actually the one that got me back into fish after like 10 years. Set her up a Eclipse 12 with guppies and all. Then a few months later I inherited the tank when she lost interest. Then of course the 12 wasn't big enough for cichlids and the "need another tank spiral" started. :)
She still likes all the fish, just not the work involved.
