Ok, so I wanted to go with more of a semi-aggressive cichlid tank for my 112g...So far I have my 2 Oscars (7"and 4"), and my pl*co...I went to my lfs tonight to look around and someone had dropped off this gorgeous male gold sev...so i had to take him..he was only $10! Anyway, I am inquiring about a BP that had been dropped off as well, just starting to color up, but a good size. Probably be $10 as well. So what I'm asking is...Would my 7" tiger O (4" is getting sold to a friend), the gold sev and a BP be ok in a 112g tank? Or even if it's for the time being?

You should be fine if one of the o's is going.

I have everyone in the tnak now, and the new bp is just dominating the tank! the severum was so shy, but now he's out and about now that the bps there (they were tankmates in the old tank)....everyones picking on little Housty (albino o)..oh well, he's getting what he deserves...he was such a little bugger to Big Girl...

yeah bullies usually get what they deserve.i had a firemouth that used to pick on all the fish and one day i guess my male con got tired of it and scaled his a$$ never saw a fish take such a beating in such a short amount of time.

i had the same situation! i had a firemouth (fullgrown) bully beating on EVERYONE in my 55, then one day a baby jag 2" and a small flowerhorn4" double teamed and killed it in less than the half hour i was at the post office!
