i don't have any holding yet - they're still pretty small, but the big(ger) male was going through the motions last night.
how big were yours on your first hold?

Yup, the Astatotilapia latifasciata is one incredibly productive species. I stopped raising my fry since I couldn't even give them away anymore.

they were pretty big when i got em. i would say the smallest 2" the largest male (of 2) is about 3 1/2. the holdn females about 2 1/2. i'll be able to get rid of em to 2 stores, that is till some females slip through the cracks. one of the benefits of isolation.
i have yet to see these in a store in SE idaho. we do have petsmart now so thatll change soon.
and ive only had em 2 mo.
