Real trimac?

Hey guys :)
I've scanned the threads to try & decide whether or not my newest find is actually a real trimac or an el crapo flowerhorn...

...I THINK it's a trimac...it's about 3 1/2 inches (not including the tail)...
Any opinions?
...for the record, he was $5...

Could be a trimac. Impossible to tell for sure without knowing the source. Looks more like one than most of the trimachorms posted as the spotting is right. Never know though Jenni. Tell you what We will call this one a definate trimac, just for kicks!

but its a pinky purple rather than green??? or am i color-blind???? i hope its a trimac! mine looked VERY trimac but i posted it and was told it was a horn-green or no green, although rudy did say its impossible to tell without dna testing?!?!?!

He's more greenish...has a very faint hue of pink around the chest area...
Eric (Bodrock) says he believes it to be a trimac...not a flowerhorn...said the same thing Rudy did, as the spotting was correct...
Either way, he's a cutie & glad I picked him up (he's my birthday present to me:) )
...though I'll need a bigger tank...

(ps...found a 40 breeder in the trash..has a crack, put I'm planning on a glass patch)
