Can anyone tell me any info on this type of cichlid??

I have 2 geophagus jurupari and know nothing about them. Any info on them would be very helpful.

They're South American and you should look under Satanoperca jurupari. I think they're mouthbrooders, which is pretty cool in a new world cichlid. Good luck with them. :D

you could try looking under g hondae as well , as i'm 99% sure they used to be called (he says showing his age a little)

juropari awesome fish they are south american...they are mouth brooders...also called eartheaters becuase of theyre habit of sifting sand and small rocks...youve probably noticed this already....they get to a respectable size...and are relatively peaceful as long as you are not a small fish or anything..
