"Worm" Attack (Yes, the server's fine)

Just to assure you that there was/is no local server problem, and all data is quite safe (in any event, the site has been backed up daily since September).

Much of the Internet has been down since around midnight, ET:

Some of you may continue to experience problems (pages not loading quickly or completely) for much of the day, but it appears that traffic will be back to normal later this evening.
