I'm doing a fishless cycle. I did the 5 ppm a day.4 days nittite spiked.3 days 1/2 dose ammonia reads 0. Than I did 50% water change. That's were I messed up.Was I suppose to wait for nitrite to 0 also? My 1/2 dose ammonia is now back to 1.0 Do I keep doing the 1/2 dose or bump back to 5 ppm and start over the nitrite is still at 10.0+ on my jungle test strips.

If you keep adding ammonia at the 1/2 dose you 'd be fine IMO - anyone else agree?? As long as your bacterial colony has a constant source of food and you aren't adding chlorinated water which may kill them or something they should just keep on doing their thing... It may extend the time of your cycle a bit, but just keep plugging along and it should be fine... good luck!

I'll agree with that! Good luck!

I agree. Keep dosing at 1/2 volume. When you reach 0 ammonia you might add some more seeded material. The high ammonia levels can kill the nitrobacter that convert the nitrite to nitrate. So it helps to introduce these again when ammonia hits zero or it could lengthen your cycle.
