Does anyone know of a Heater that will keep your tank at a constant Temp. What I mean by that is say you want to keep your tank at 76 F so when the water Temp reached 76 F it would shut off and if the Temp was dropping it would bring it up to 76 F again.

umm.. that's how aquarium heaters work... if they didn't work like that then it would be near impossible to keep the tank heated properly

oh i didnt know, i m a noob at this. But my heator doesnt do that. It fluctuates badly. I put it on low and it heats it up and doesnt stop. One time it just went up to 90 F and i turned it off. Luckily i didnt have fish yet.
