Hello,

I will be in Dallas this week and was just wondering if any of you know of some nice shops that carry a good selection of cichlids and related goods in the DFW area????

Check out Seven Seas Tropicarium at 9035 Garland Rd. There phone number is (214)324-1719.

They have a great selection of cichlids and other freshwater fish, as well as some pretty sweet saltwater fish. They also have a tank with several huge oscars, and a show tank in the tank display room that has two huge peacock bass, a clown knife that is atleast two feet, and a large redtailed catfish. The peacockbass are awesome! There are several other impressive display tanks, including an african cichlid tank, and some saltwater tanks. They have a great selection of cichlids, including pbass, managuense, pike cichlids, and trimacs just to name a few. I hope you get a chance to check it out.
